POLICE have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of bicycle from Beaconsfield train station.

British Transport Police said the bike was secured to the rack at the station at 7.50am on January 31 but it was gone when the owner returned.

Officers want to speak to this man about the theft.

Superintendent Gareth Williams, leading an investigation into thefts from train stations across Buckinghamshire and Essex, said: “The officers investigating these cases have followed a number of extensive enquiries in order to identify those responsible but to no avail so far.

“Now we are asking for members of the public to come forward and help officers identify those responsible.

"If you know any of these people and can tell us who they are, then we want to hear from you.”
