A WITNESS appeal has been launched by police after a burglary attempt at a property in Chalfont St Peter.

Officers said an unsuccessful attempt to force entry to a house in Grove Road was made between 8.30am and 11.45am on Sunday.

PC Roy Evans said: “I am keen to speak with anyone who was in Grove Road around this time and may have seen people loitering in front gardens or any vehicles that seemed out of place to contact the police.”
