CHEESE lovers from far and wide descended on Beaconsfield last Saturday for the third annual cheese maker’s market.
Mayor Graham Corney opened the day-long celebration of cheese, where expert makers and sellers were on hand for sampling and advice.
Three 'chevaliers de cape', specially trained promoters from Beaconsfield’s French twin town Langres, made the journey to display their wares and meet their British counterparts.
They also attend a special evening held in their honour by the Beaconsfield Twinning Association.
A return visit is planned for May to the French town in the Champagne Ardenne region, which was twinned with Beaconsfield in 1995.
