A 29-YEAR-OLD woman was grabbed from behind as she walked home from High Wycombe town centre.

Her attacker ran away after a silver car drove past the scene of the altercation, outside the Iron Duke at the corner of Duke Street and Totteridge Road.

The incident happened at around 1.45am on Sunday July 14.

Police have today launched an appeal for witnesses to the attack to come forward.

The man is described as Asian, around 5ft 8ins tall and aged in his late 40s. He is described as having an ‘open’ face with his eyebrows quite far apart. His hair and beard were both black and the same length. At the time the man was wearing a light coloured shirt and trousers.
