A FORMER doctor at Wycombe Hospital has been ordered to pay £1,500 to two victims he sexually abused.
Jagatdas Anthathi of Temple Orchard in Amersham Hill was convicted by jurors at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday of abusing two victims at the hospital between January 2010 and April 2012.
The 40-year-old was ordered to pay £1,500 in compensation to both victims plus court costs. He was cleared of one count of sexual assault.
Investigating officer Det Con Rob Gibson said: “We would like to pay tribute to the victims in this case for their courage in coming forward and supporting this conviction.”
In a statement, Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust said: “The trust is aware of the outcome of the court judgement against Jagatdas Anthathi.
“The trust has worked very closely with the police throughout the whole period of their investigation.”
