Call for participants in Alzheimer's Society's Beaconsfield 'Memory Walk'
THE ALZHEIMER'S Society is calling for participants for its ‘Memory Walk’ in Beaconsfield next week.
The walk through the Hall Barn Estate in Windsor End takes place next Sunday, September 8 to raise money and awareness for the disease.
There are three routes, 1km, 3km or 5km through the private estate, which has a landscape park and woodland covering around 800 hectares and around 32 hectares of central gardens.
The 3k and 5k are not accessible for pushchairs or wheelchairs, and toilets are available at the start and finish of the walks.
Those wishing to enter must register by 10.30am for an 11am start.
Registration is free, but organisers ask each walker to try and raise £50 towards helping to provide support to people living with dementia and the society’s research to find a cure.
To register or find out more about the Memory Walk, visit www.memorywalk.org.uk/beaconsfield or call 0845 306 0898,
