Marlow Food Festival takes place this Sunday
MICHELIN recognised chef Clive Dixon, and other top chefs from the area, will be demonstrating their culinary skills at this year’s free entry Marlow Food Festival.
The festival at Macdonald Compleat Angler Hotel, Marlow Bridge this Sunday between 11am and 4pm will also feature a huge variety of stalls offering tasty delights as well as gifts and fashion accessories to take home.
Foodie demonstrations start at 11am with a tasting of the Dutch Château Neubourg pilsner, now available in the UK from the Blue Beer Company.
This will be followed at 12 noon with a demonstration showing how to work with dark chocolate by pastry chef Stephen Glenister from Stephanie Almeida bespoke cakes of Penn.
Clive Dixon, chef patron from the White Oak in Cookham, which was recently awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, takes the stage at 1pm bringing a wealth of experience to the festival having worked with some of the UK’s leading chefs including Heston Blumenthal.
Andreas Guhl from Andi’s Finest, who offer a diverse array of German food products both imported and made in the UK including truffles and a vodka with gold flakes, will take over at 2pm. He will be demonstrating how to make traditional German dishes such as their national currywurst, all made from locally sourced ingredients.
The final session starts at 3pm with Macdonald Compleat Angler’s new AA two rosette head chef, Sanobia Cutino.
