Public Network Rail Q&A meeting in Gerrards Cross next week
TRAIN passengers in South Bucks will have the chance to quiz the body responsible for rail infrastructure next week during an open meeting.
Following a question and answer session with Chiltern Railways earlier this year, Gerrards Cross Parish Council has arranged a public meeting with Network Rail representatives on Thursday.
Chris Brown, parish council chairman, said: "The meeting with Chiltern Railways was quite successful, but some of the questions asked were concerns for Network Rail so we invited them down for a similar meeting.
"Most of the issues are to do with general facilities and infrastructure rather than the train services themselves."
Cllr Brown said residents’ issues included access, bridges and footpaths, as well as issues left over from the construction of the Gerrards Cross Tesco tunnel, which was finally completed three years ago.
The forum will be held at the Memorial Centre on East Common from 7pm on Wednesday, October 10.
