Business Expo comes to Wycombe tomorrow
3:11pm Monday 21st October 2013 in News
THE biggest business event in Wycombe's calendar returns to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of the area tomorrow.
The Wycombe Business Expo aims to help firms network, cultivate trade and boost their profiles.
The Expo was first established to address the lack of a flagship event to support the strong business community in the Wycombe area.
Elton Boocock, one of the organisers of the event, said: "The fact that such an event did not exist was incredible. It seemed obvious to me: High Wycombe is such a key town in terms of business activity and its location, however we didn’t have an annual event to show off our entrepreneurial talents."
This year the event takes place at the Vere Suit at Adams Park tomorrow, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Exhibitors for the 2013 event include Basepoint, Bucks New University, Urban Media, Make Our Day, Media Train, Missenden Abbey, Right Hand HR and Thames Graphics, while sponsors include Wycombe District Council, Citygate, Lloyds TSB and Wycombe Wanderers FC.
Kicking off the day will be a networking breakfast which runs from 8am to 9.30am before the Expo opens its doors to additional visitors.
Thorughout the day there will be talks on Google and the effect it can have on businesses, on making apprenticeships profitable and plenty more besides.
There will also be a panel-led Question Time style event running from 2.15pm to 3.15pm.
