A TEAM of cyclists say they were lucky not to be more seriously hurt after a collision with a car.
Members of the Amersham Road Cycling Club were involved in the collision while cycling in Bedfordshire on Sunday, with one of them being taken to hospital with concussion.
They were in a layby on Pedley Hill in Studham waiting for some of their clubmates to catch up when the incident happened at around 10.55am.
A total of three cyclists suffered slight injuries following the collision with a Peugeot car.
Julie Anderson, one of the group's ride leaders, said: "To my knowledge only one person was taken to hospital with concussion and was then released.
"It was a very lucky escape for the rest of the group, who only had minor injuries."
Bedfordshire Police say they are investigating the collision.
