PANTO started this week at the Theatre Royal Windsor and will run until the new year.

There is a big cast of stars in this year's Aladdin pantomime, which started on Wednesday.

Rosemary Shrager, celebrity chef and I'm A Celebrity Star, is taking on the role of The Empress while Britain’s Got Talent runners up - Twist n Pulse are playing the Chinese Policemen.

Peter Duncan- star of Blue Peter and Duncan Dares will be taking on the role of Abanazar and Basil Brush will be there as The Genie of the Lamp.

A Windsor panto would not be complete without its dream team of Kevin Cruise and Steven Blakeley.

Britain’s Got Talent star Kevin received unanimous acclaim last year as Simple Simon and this year plays Wishee Washee.

Steven Blakeley is back again donning a variety of outrageous wigs and frocks to become the infamous Widow Twankey.

Giovannia Spano will be playing Aladdin.

He has just finished playing the lead in Bohemian Rhapsody on tour and prior to that he played Simon Zealotes in the Lloyd Webber National Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. The leading lady will be played by (the aptly named) Jasmine Gur.

A graduate from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, she has appeared in The Secret Garden, Cabaret, 42nd Street and lots more.

Aladdin will be playing until January 5. For more information go to www.theatreroyalwindsor.co.uk.
