TWO events offering advice on staying safe on a night out will be held at one of Beaconsfield's top night spots in the run up to Christmas.

The events, which aim to promote useful information that will help residents to have a safe night out, will be held outside Revolutions night club on Maxwell Road on the December 11 and 18 between 7pm and 3am.

Partygoers will receive a pack that contains a drink spikey, lollipop, bottle of water, flip flops and some useful advice numbers.

South Bucks District Councillor Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community says: "Tackling alcohol related violence in the night time economy is a key priority for the South Bucks Community Safety Partnership. All agencies in South Bucks are committed to creating a safe district, by asking people to drink sensibly we hope that everyone can enjoy a happy Christmas and New Year without incident."

PC Rachel Dale of Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Police team says: "We continue to raise awareness that if people don't manage the amount of alcohol they consume, they face various risks. Over the two nights, we will highlight the key issues associated with drinking too much."

The events are being organised by SBDC’s Community Safety team, the Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Police team and the Bucks Drug and Alcohol Action team.
