A SPECTACULAR Christmas light show that aims to raise over £1,000 for charity has gone up in Chalfont St Giles.

Billy Evans, who put up the lights at his home in Three Households, is raising money for the armed forces charity Help for Heroes with his display.

The 21-year-old self employed landscaper and gardener said the lights have been given a good reception by neighbours.

He said: "The other night there was a couple out there with a baby who said, 'We don't want to go home, we want to stand here all night'."

Last year's display raised £1,450 for Help for Heroes, a charity former TA member Mr Evans was keen to collect for.

The lights will be up until Twelfth Night and there will be a charity collection box outside the house. Alternatively go to www.justgiving.com/csglights to donate.
