A PLETHORA of Christmas trees stood proudly in a church in Chinnor at the weekend.
The third St Andrew's Church Christmas Tree festival started on Saturday with 34 real and artificial trees telling the story of Christmas.
They were all decorated with the theme of "Christmas Hymns and Songs" and there was entertainment from the Chinnor Silver Training Band.
The St Andrew's CofE Primary School Choir also sang, as did the Chinnor Crumblies and the Village Voices Choir. The festival runs all week from 2 to 4.30pm.
On Saturday it is open from 11am to 4.30pm with the Treble Choir singing at 11.30am and the Mill Lane Community Primary School Choir at 2.30pm.
On Sunday it is open from 2 to 4.30pm and the Aston Rowant Hand Bell Ringers will perform at 2.30pm.
