AFTER going to ground for much of the autumn, Marlow’s adopted South American mascot has resurfaced, with a fresh sighting of the world’s largest rodent.
The capybara has lived a charmed life on the banks of the Thames since last escaping from a private sanctuary at the McAlpine's Fawley Hill estate in July.
And walker Geraldine Barnard from Guildford, who was walking the Thames Path with her husband, spotted the furry frolicker east of Henley - three miles upstream from his usual haunt at the Compleat Angler Hotel.
