COMMUNITY groups are being invited to apply for a slice of a £35,000 grant from Chiltern District Council.
A total of 40 groups benefited from a handout from the council in last year's grant funding project and projects around the district are now being encouraged to get their applications in.
Funding went to groups as diverse as art projects, town centre regeneration, music therapy and employment support programmes last year.
Peter Hudson, cabinet member for community, said: "These community grants make a huge difference to the quality of people's lives, supporting local groups which provide an amazing range of services to our residents, many vulnerable and in need of support. As a council we are delighted to support their work."
