FRESH plans have emerged for a block of retirement flats and a supermarket after the previous rejected proposals were labelled "a big slab of rubbish."
Developers McCarthy and Stone want to build 25 ‘later living apartments’ at Parade Court in Bourne End, with the building set to incorporate a Sainsbury’s Local.
And the new application, submitted on December 21, features a more traditional appearance after the previous design was lambasted by councillors at Wycombe District Council in November.
The flat-roofed, wooden-clad design has been replaced with a pitched roof and wooden beams.
Wycombe District Council are expected to rule on the new proposal by April.
