A BALL held in Marlow has helped raise enough money to pay for a hospice nurse for a month.
The glitzy gala at Court Garden raised £2,190 for the Sue Ryder Hospice charity, which will help pay for a month's worth of support for patients with disabilities and life-limiting illness and their families.
The event was organised by the BFP's Sue Whapshott and her friend Della Ashton.
Sue Ryder's regional fundraiser Pru Sly, pictured with Sue, said: "It is an amazing figure and we are very grateful indeed for her support."
