TWO women had to be rescued from a High Wycombe house this morning after a nearby car fire caused damage to buildings.
Firefighters were called to Highfield Avenue at 10.24am, where a car was on fire between two bungalows.
Crews rescued two women from one of the bungalows and used a hose reel and breathing apparatus while battling the blaze.
The women were handed into the care of ambulance staff, who also attended the scene.
Both bungalows sustained external damage from the fire.
