A MAN tried to rob a teenage girl in High Wycombe last night.
Between 6.20 and 6.30pm a 14-year-old girl was walking along Beech Road when she was approached by a man.
She stopped to cross Kings Road when she felt a sharp tug on the hood of her coat and the robber attempted to put his hands inside the coat pocket.
No items were stolen.
The offender was a man in his early 20s, about 5ft 11ins tall and of a slim build. He was wearing a dark grey tracksuit with two dark stripes down the side of the leg and on the arm of the hooded top. The hood was up and pulled tightly around his face.
