TWO men from Chesham have been charged with various offences relating to the alleged sexual abuse of a 15-year-old and trafficking for sexual exploitation.
Police said the charges were brought following an investigation by Amersham Force CID.
Lee Wakelin, aged 31, of Upper George Street, and 21-year-old Arslan Khan, of Severalls Avenue, are jointly charged with causing/inciting a child aged 15 to prostitution between 28 December 2012 and 1 January 2013; and trafficking persons within the United Kingdom for sexual exploitation between 28 December 2012 and 31 December 2012.
Wakelin is further charged with the rape of a girl aged 15 between 28 December 2012 and 31 December 2012, while 21-year-old Khan is charged with causing/inciting a girl aged 15 to engage in sexual activity/penetration between 28 December 2012 and 1 January 2013.
Wakelin was charged on Sunday, January 12, and appeared before Wycombe Magistrates’ Court the following day. He has been bailed to appear before Aylesbury Crown Court on a date yet to be fixed.
Khan was charged yesterday morning and was to appear before Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today.
