Nigel Farage to visit south Bucks this weekend

First published in News

UKIP leader Nigel Farage will be making a whistle-stop tour of the county this weekend.

The Buckinghamshire MEP will be visiting Amersham, Beaconsfield and Chalfont St Peter on Saturday.

His tour starts at the Kings Arms pub in Old Amersham at 2pm, before public meetings at 3.30pm at Chalfont St Peter Community Centre and at 7.30pm at Beaconsfield High School.

Organisers say the response to his Chalfont St Peter visit has been so strong that an overflow room has been booked and Mr Farage will be giving two addresses there.

UKIP South Bucks chairman Tim Scott said: "We are really excited that Nigel Farage is coming to visit south Bucks. We believe we can top the poll here in May’s European elections, especially after people have heard Nigel speak."

Will be interesting to hear him live. UKIP are the fastest growing political party and getting more and more support as people understand their policies, so this tour can only be a good thing for the party and ultimately the Country.

There is nothing racist about UKIP policies. It fact, they are now policies that both Labour and Conservatives support but cannot do anything about whilst we remain in Europe.

The rise of the right wing parties throughout Europe is due to the open door policy and a sensible immigration policy would stop the same happening here.

No true, until recent funding from a working-class, self-made businessman, UKIP was mostly funded by small individual contributions, unlike LibLabCon who all sell honours and favours and contracts to donors. Mass immigration is opposed by 80% of the population. The political elite are denying the will of the people. Stop voting for them.

and a quote from their beloved leader for you ladies, taken from BBC2's programme 'Daily Politics'

Farage was also attacked on the programme for his comments about women in the City being "worth less" to employers after they have had children. Louise Cooper, a financial analyst, said he should be ashamed of setting back the cause of young women who might want to pursue jobs in the City, including his own daughters.
The Ukip leader defended his comments, saying the gap in pay between men and women was just "the way the world works" because of biology. He said motherhood was a lifestyle choice.
Cooper said Farage was "talking out of his bottom" for saying there was no discrimination against women in the world of finance.

And he was entirely correct. Women in that particular situation are worth less to the company when they have children because they lose their client base while they are not working, and the client base is everything in that business.

It's like saying a mechanic who takes a year off and loses their skills is worth less than a mechanic who hasn't lost any skills.

Yog, thank you.
So this is only about money! All the stirring up of racialist hatred, encouraging tribalism is about MONEY! Not immigration. jobs, living standards for us bottom feeders, not even economics.
It is about filthy lucre in the rich man’s pockets. I better re-think my prejudices.

Thethe,
We may be unfair on UKIP. These intellectuals do have more than one scare policy. Let me present their Enviroment Policy to you.
Mr Nattrass (Midlands MEP) said: “The Government is simply opening the flood gates to the mass development of inefficient onshore wind turbines and incinerators."
Thethe, the rest of the world knows that not switching from fossil fuels will simply open the flood gates to real floods when the ice caps melt.
