The Waggon and Horses in Chalfont St Peter

Job: Carer

Pub: The Waggon and Horses in Chalfont St Peter

How often do you come here? Too often! About three of four times a week.

Do you have a usual spot? Yes, I have got a usual place where I stand- near the darts board.

What do you usually drink? Strongbow or  lime and soda water.

What do you like about it? I like the people and the atmosphere and the fact it is a bit of an old fashioned darts pub. You have got the darts side of it then you have got the modern side of it as well. There is a good crowd of locals here.

Do you think pubs still have a place in today's society? I think they could have more of a place. It is an area to socialise and a neutral ground to meet friends.

Is The Waggon and Horses your local? What do you like about it? Leave your comments below.

A good friend of mine used to live opposite the Waggon and Horses many years ago, above the Bee Research Laborotory and in those days, the pub was run by a miserable old troll who banned us from his pub because he said our parties were too noisy. He also didn't like anybody in his pub who was less than pension age.
I am glad it seems to have changed so much now as it always looked like a really beaut old pub from the outside. Good luck to it and all who who drink in her.I will make sure I drop in there for a beer or 10 if I should ever return to the U.K. for any reason

Regards
