A HUNGARIAN-themed evening to celebrate Marlow’s links with Budapest takes place tonight.
The Marlow Budavar Town Twinning Association presents an evening of talks, pictures, live music and wine as the group explores Marlow’s Hungarian alter ego.
The town has been twinned with Budavar, a district of Budapest, since a formal agreement was signed between the town’s mayors in 2007.
Budapest is famous for its chain bridge, similar to the iconic structure that helps define Marlow as a picturesque Thames-side town.
Tickets cost £8 each, which includes a glass of Hungarian fizz, with everyone welcome to the United Reformed Church on Oxford Road.
The night will begin with a short Twinning Association AGM.
