Bekonscot model village opened its doors ahead of another year this week, with the weather failing to dampen their spirits.
Marketing manager, Maura Buckland, said: “We are very, very fortunate here not to be affected by the weather, people still seem to come.”
She added that the bad weather meant they weren’t as busy as they hoped on Saturday but there was a good turn out on Sunday when the sun emerged.
Staff at Bekonscot have extended the tea room over the winter with more room now available for people to sit down and keep out of the rain.
The Beaconsfield tourist attraction will be open daily 10am to 5pm, until November 2 when it will close for the winter break.
This year will also see the model village celebrate its 85-year anniversary on August 9-10.
