WASTE and recycling centre High Heavens will be shut this weekend for tree-felling works.
The closure at the centre in Clay Lane, Booker, will run on both Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2.
Users are warned, however, that the date of the works may chancge due to weather or unforeseen circimstances. Up to date information will be available at www.wycombe.gov.uk The site will reopen as usual on March 3.
Customers with High Heavens permits can use them at the alternative sites on March 1 and 2 They are advised to use one of the following sites instead this weekend:
Beaconsfield- A40 London Road, HP9 2XB
Bledlow Ridge - Wigans Lane, HP14 4BH
Amersham- London Road East,HP7 9DT
Chesham - Latimer Road, HP5 1TL
Burnham- Crowpiece Lane, SL2 3TG
Wood from the tree felling will primarily be made available to High Heavens customers. Buckinghamshire County Council reserves the right to use other HWRC sites for the 'wood give away' event.
The wood give away will end when available stocks have been used (no advance notice will be provided indicating when the event ends). Please note customers must load their own vehicles with the wood.
