IN last week’s edition of the Bucks Free Press we carried a story about property developers Jansons, in Beaconsfield, challenging the sale of Wilton Park.
Wilton Park was a formerly owned MOD site and plans are now in place for Inland Homes to develop on it.
The article went on to state that Jansons had bid for the site. However, this is incorrect. Jansons never formally bid for the site as it did not go on the open market.
At the time of the sale, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, said: "DIO took professional advice which confirmed Inland as a special purchaser within the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) definition and sought appropriate approvals to undertake an off-market sale."
