A SUSPECTED vomiting bug has struck at one of Marlow’s most popular hotels.

The BFP was contacted by a reader who reported a suspected viral outbreak with symptoms of vomiting at the four-star hotel.

Staff confirmed that “a number” of people have been affected by a bug, but have not yet given precise details.

A hotel spokesman said: “Our team is working in partnership with authorities investigating the source of a bug which has affected a number of people.

“The cause has not been confirmed at this stage.”

Signs have been put up around the hotel warning people to be vigilant.

It is understood the hotel on Fieldhouse Lane is still admitting guests as normal.

And the Crowne Plaza confirmed that the Quad Club gym and swimming pool has not been affected and remains open.
