COMMENTARY legend Jonathan Agnew- aka Aggers- gave an entertaining talk in Amersham in aid of Scannappeal.

More than 200 cricket fans packed Lancaster Jaguar and heard behind the scenes tales from 5 Live’s Test Match Special and the England cricket team, including the infamous ‘legover’ comment.

£3,000 was raised for the LaserHeart Appeal to provide advanced equipment to radically improve diagnosis and treatment of angina and heart attacks.

Once purchased, this equipment will benefit 10,000 cardiac patients in the South Bucks area each year.

Scannappeal’s next sports-themed event will be a private screening of World Cup Football with Rebellion Beer on June 19 for the England vs. Uruguay group match.
