IT was a case of all’s wool that ends wool as 120 newborn lambs came into the world.
The new additions to Berkshire College of Agriculture started arriving two weeks ago, with a second batch of the babies due to arrive mid-April.
Ray Hibbert, stockman at the college in Burchetts Green, said they have 21 sets of triplets due in the second round, and one set of quads.
Mr Hibbert has to work through the night to tend to the newborns, often setting his alarm at 2am.
That takes shear determination.
