THE two drivers who were killed in a collision on the A413 last week have been named.

They have been named as 29-year-old Carl Bird, of Hillary Road, High Wycombe, and 64-year-old Malcolm Tindall of Somerville Way, Aylesbury.

Both men were driving in opposite directions along the A413 near Great Missenden when they were involved in a collision between Bowood Lane and Leather Lane at 6am on Tuesday, March 4.

A female passenger in the black Vauxhall Astra being driven by Mr Bird was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries.

An inquest into the deaths of both men, which opened on Friday, ruled they died from multiple injuries. It has been adjourned until June 18.

Thames Valley Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the crash. Anyone with information should call PC Sarah Phillips on 101.
