THE Caribbean Peoples Foundation has sent its first relief shipment out to St Vincent following fundraising in High Wycombe.
The group, set up in December 2013, raised more than £2000 during a fundraiser in January and have committed to helping people affected by the storms that battered the Caribbean.
A second shipment containing further medical items and supplies will be sent over in the coming weeks, with the group appealing for residents to donate money, clothes, bedding or toiletries to help those families affected.

A separate fundraiser, which raised more than £2000, was held at the Hilltop Community Centre on February 1 by Epidemic Entertainment, which has thanked all those people who attended.
