THE High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire visited a village school last Friday to unveil a new classroom extension.
Speen Church of England School welcomed Sir Stuart Hampson in full ceremonial dress to cut the ribbon.
Parents, staff, governors and invited guests from the Diocese and village joined pupils in a special assembly, including prayers and readings by the children and a blessing by Rev. James Tomkins.
Headteacher Denise Nayna thanked all present for their help with the project and said staff and children were very excited with the additional learning space.
