A NEW restaurant could be heading for Marlow after plans were revealed to transform a High Street shop.
Agent Pegasus Planning has submitted a proposal to open a restaurant in the store currently occupied by the Mayther card shop.
Details are yet to emerge about which restaurant is looking to take on the premises, which is located between Superdrug and Space NK.
The application has been submitted on behalf of CG restaurants.
The plans cover both ground floor and first floor of the High Street site, which prior to Mayther was occupied by shoe shop Stead and Simpson. The first floor is currently empty.
The application to Wycombe District Council seeks to change the building’s use from retail to restaurant use, and to install air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
Mayther moved onto Marlow High Street in 2006, and replaced the shopfront in 2008.
