THIS weekend sees the return of a Marlow tradition as hundreds of people limber up for a gruelling Sunday morning challenge.

The Marlow Duathlon takes place on Sunday, organised by running club the Marlow Striders.

The tough 7k run is followed by a 25km bike ride, with the course beginning and ending at Marlow Sports Club on Pound Lane.

Organisers are expecting to run this year’s event as in previous years but have an alternative running route in place if needed due to the recent flooding.

However the club advises participants to wear trail shoes or similar as parts of the running course are currently quite muddy.
