A HAIR stylist from Bucks will take the plunge in a 12,000ft skydive for a local church.

Tyler Sheridan, 21, a stylist at Blank Canvas in Farnham Common, is one of eight St Mary’s Restoration Team Skydivers.

The participants are all local young people who are keen to maintain a tower on top of the local church.

Mr Sheridan said: “We aim to raise thousands to help save the tiled section of the Tower at St Mary’s Church in Farnham Royal, which has decayed beyond repair and is in urgent need of total renovation.”

He added: “I think the exciting bit will be falling the first mile in 30 seconds, that’s 120 miles an hour.

“I have always wanted to do a Skydive, and this Tower Fund is such a good cause, I couldn’t resist helping in this way.”

Owner of Blank Canvas, Vonnie Walton, said: “We like to support local charities and all of us at Blank Canvas are keen to get behind Tyler and encourage him in his venture.”

The skydive, will take place on May 3, at Chiltern Park in Oxfordshire.
