POLICE are hunting for a group of youths who deliberately put items it in the middle of the road in Hazlemere on Friday evening.

Officers said young people were spotted intentionally placing the items on Lower Ridge Road and The Rise between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Passers-by and motorists removed the obstructions without incident, with police now looking for the culprits.

PC Howard Wynne said: “Police are conscious of the dangers that such deliberate obstructions pose to road users, especially motorcyclists.

“If you know who is responsible for this, please let us know via non emergency number 101 so that a local officer can take the appropriate action.”

Once again the BFP has incorrect information within this article. Lower Ridge Road does not exist. The Rise is off of Western Dene. I suggest you clarify the road names BFP!!!

Are we sure this isn't the (dis)work of Transport for Bucks? They've been causing all sorts of roads problems with poor / no maintenance for the last several years...?
