STUDENTS at Buckinghamshire New University will be getting all dressed up for a run around its campus for Sports Relief on Friday.

BNU students will be donning weird and wonderful fancy dress costumes for the mile-long run around the Queen Alexandra Road campus.

Indoor-curling, table tennis and FIFA 14 tournaments have also been organised by the Students’ Union’s Sport for Fun team as part of Sports Relief.

Hannah Jeremy, Active Universities Sports Project Activator, said: "We are inviting people to donate just £2 to dress up and take part so it should be a fun, colourful afternoon.

"Sport Relief is a fantastic cause so we are excited about raising as much money as possible and have plenty of activities for students to get involved in."

The SU is also collecting donations and items from students and staff to donate to High Wycombe-based charity, One Can Trust.

One Can Trust provides individuals and families deemed in crisis with free food-parcels from the One Can Trust Foodbank within the Wycombe area.
