DAMAGING wildlife has been a big concern for campaigners against the proposed development of Slate Meadow, but one resident has now raised concerns on behalf of her pet cat.
Slate Meadow is an area of land which separates Bourne End and Wooburn Green, it has recently been suggested that this land could be developed as part of the Wycombe District Council's Local Plan.
Karen Venison, who lives on Frank Lunnon Close, said: “I have a cat. If this went ahead I would have main/ side roads directly behind my house and this would affect the safety of my cat.”
She added: “The animals that visit that field would have nowhere to go. I see deer, rabbits, pheasants and various other birds every day.”
