A NEW dental surgery could open in Amersham later this year after plans were submitted.

Proposals to convert a disused office at 46 Woodside Road in the town have been submitted to Chiltern District Council this week.

According to the application documents supplied to the council the proposed business would provide four full time and two part time jobs.

The planned surgery would open from 8.45am-6pm on weekdays - with an extended opening until 7.30pm on Thursdays - and from 9am-1pm on Saturdays.

The application form submitted to the council by Aspire Dental Care states the office has not been used since 2009.

A decision on whether to grant planning permission is likely to be made in early May.
