BOURNE End marina is slowly returning back to normal after boats were allowed back out in the local area.

Yellow warning boards have now been placed between Marlow and Cookham Locks allowing boaters to use the water with caution.

Marina manager, Peter Osborne, said: “We would like to think everything might return to normal within a week a two.

“It all depends on the weather, hopefully we won’t have too much rain and we can all be back out soon.”

It is the first time this year the marina has been taken off red boards, which means it is unsafe to use.
