A 12-YEAR-OLD boy is among the people to have been charged with burglary in Chesham in the last month.

The youngster was arrested and charged by Thames Valley Police after breaking into a shed.

Officers said in the last month four homes in Chesham had been burgled and a further two had been the target of attempted break-ins - a figure which has halved compared to February.

Another five burglaries and one attempted burglary of non-dwelling buildings were also reported last month. Police said the properties targeted included sheds, garages, community buildings and commercial premises.

Thames Valley Police said two male youths, aged 18 and 17, had been jointly charged with theft in a dwelling and a 23-year-old man had been on charged with a number of burglary and robbery offences in Chesham.
