A FAMILY themed carnival day attracted 1,000 people to Bucks New Uni.
The event was held at the High Wycombe campus and had rides and games, live music and food stalls.
In the evening there was a Venetian masquerade ball, which 600 people went to.
One of the organisers, Lee Stevenson- Rose, said: "It was really good. We had a lot of people turn up in the day- 1,000 in total.
"Last year it was 600, so we excelled last year."
It was part of a piece of coursework for two courses at Bucks New University.
Students from Music and Live Events and Event and Festival Management were given the challenge to organise the day.
There were 80 students working on it and they were all given different tasks. They will found out their results after Easter.
Lee added: "There were a lot of families there and a lot of little kids.
"The rides were popular. The weather was perfect- we couldn't have asked for a better day for it."
