NINE air cadets from the area were given royal treatment when they climbed aboard the Queen's aeroplane.
Cadets from Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, The Chalfonts Denham were given the chance to experience a flight on the BAe 146, which is located at RAF Northolt.
With less than 24 hours notice the cadets were offered the chance to visit the aircraft, their hangars and have a flight which took them to RAF Leuchars and RAF Lossiemouth.
The pilots invited the cadets to observe the cockpit and explained the purpose of this flight and why they do flying circuits- which is when they land the aeroplane, take off immediately and fly round the airfield.
