A PARALYMPIC gold-medal winner joined Flackwell Heath pupils last week to open a new sensory garden.

The garden at Juniper Hill School was officially opened by gold-medal winner, Naomi Riches, last Friday, April 4.

Miss Riches, a former Bucks New University graduate, was invited to the school to open the garden in front of pupils, who are said to have greatly enjoyed her visit.

The sensory garden was opened in memory of a former pupil who passed away a few years ago.

Naomi Riches, dressed in her London 2012 clothes, showed off her medals to pupils on the day.
