CYCLISTS who missed out on a place in the RideLondon 100 can still take part - and help raise money for a Bucks-based charity at the same time.

The Epilepsy Society still has spaces available in its team for the cycling challenge around the streets of London and the Surrey countryside.

Liz Tidy, from the Chalfont St Peter charity, said: " It's not too late to take part in this fabulous cycling event. We would love to hear from anyone wanting to take up the RideLondon challenge,  a 100 mile race against time through London's closed roads, which must be completed in under nine hours.

"More than 20,000 people will be taking part in this epic race, which is perfect for both club and recreational cyclists, for individuals and for teams."

This year's event takes place on Sunday, August 10, starting at the Olympic Park and finishing with a final ride down The Mall.

To sign up with the Epilepsy Society email Elizabeth.Tidy@epilepsysociety.org.uk or call 01494 601358. The deadline for entries is Monday, May 5.
