A PUPPY called Marlow returned to the town bearing his name last week as he visited members of the club which raised money for his guide dog training.
The black Labrador made the trip from his current home in Reading to the Rotary Club of Marlow Thames, which helped raise £6000 towards his year-long training.
The money was raised at the Santa Fun Run by Rotarians from both Marlow Rotary clubs and donated to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Members were given the chance to name the dog and had no hesitation in calling him Marlow.
Marlow Thames member Jo Braybrooke said: “He certainly was very well behaved at our meeting and we look forward to following his progress during the next year or so.
“He will certainly change someone’s life for the better and we are very happy to have been able to help in this small way.”
