A MARLOW running club is encouraging people inspired by the London Marathon to come along to a series of introductory courses launching this week.

Marlow Striders, which entered eight members into Sunday’s 26-mile race, is running a five-week ‘how to’ course for low effort and injury free running.

And the community club, which meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Marlow Sports Club, Pound Lane, is also holding ‘Easy Striders’ sessions for beginners to jump in and have a go.

The Striders were launched 1989 and bring together like minded enthusiasts for social and competitive running.

The club will holds its AGM on Thursday, April 24 at Marlow Sports Club.
