A MAN has been sentenced to seven years behind bars after knifing another man in the head in High Wycombe.
On November 27 last year, David Summerland of Queen’s Road, High Wycombe had an argument with a 32-year-old man in the same street.
During the row, Summerland, 37, caused a six centimetre laceration to the victim’s head which cut down to the bone and required hospital treatment.
It is believed a kitchen knife was used in the attack.
Summerland was arrested shortly afterwards and charged on the same day and found guilty by a jury of one count of GBH with intent at Aylesbury Crown Court on March 17.
