SOUTH Bucks Hospice and Scannappeal have launched the Jolly Jaunt, with help from Olympic gold medallist Naomi Riches who will be leading the walk.

Previously known as the Wycombe Wander, when it moved to Marlow last year it changed to the Marlow Twilight 10 and has now been renamed again.

As well as a new name, the sponsored walk will also have a fancy dress theme and is encouraging locals to get their glad rags on and take part in the walk to raise money for two great causes.

The walk, which will take place on Saturday, July 12 at 7pm from Higginson Park in Marlow, will be the fifth sponsored local walk that Scannappeal and South Bucks Hospice have held together.

Each year hundreds of people have turned up for a fun filled evening with friends and colleagues and this year both charities hope to have the same outcome.

The entry fee is £15 or a team of 8 for £100. The registration fee includes a flashing head band, a BBQ refreshment and drink which is being provided by Marlow Thame Rotary and Asda High Wycombe, as well as a medal when the walk is completed.

Minimum age of entry is 16 and everyone has the choice of a long or short walk.
